Had a terrific book signing at the Penguin Bookshop in Sewickley on Tuesday night. So grateful to Susan and Mary for having me down. Ellie and Buddy Wymard came – another terrific show of support from the Carlow MFA folks. It was great to see John Wilson and Nancy Kirkwood, too. Morgan showed up with Meatball and Gayle in tow.
The magical thing that happened occurred when Ellie raised a question about the Huffington Post review of my book. Turns out that Lindsay Edmunds, who wrote that wonderful review, was also in the audience. She got a hug, fer sure.
